Community engagement is central to vildwerk.’s mission. We use dance as a powerful tool to connect creativity with environmental awareness and action—engaging both young people and adults through meaningful artistic experiences.

Led by Emily Avsar, Director of Education and Outreach, vildwerk. works with schools, youth organizations, and adult audiences through school programs, previews, and open rehearsals that deepen understanding of our artistic and conservation work.

Our school initiatives include:

• In-theatre rehearsal visits for students
• Interactive dance and conservation workshops
• Curriculum-aligned school partnerships
• Private and special visits to conservation organizations and further engagement
